The way we raise animals meat is not very eco-friendly. In order to raise a pound of beef, it takes about 1,800 gallons of water; the average person-per-day water usage is 80-100 gallons. Consider becoming vegetarian or vegan. If you can't, try cooking without meat for one day every week or one week every month.
